Adora is an Earthly deity-based Cupid born many thousands of years ago by the direct hand of Love Goddess Aphrodite manipulating The Spirit Of Love with the aid of God King Zeus. When Christmas came into play, she displayed an ever-growing love for the sainted season. A few centuries ago, she became one of a small band of special Cupids chosen by Saint Valentine to represent the partnership between him and Aphrodite. They received angelic enchanted essences thus making them hybrid Cupids of both deity and angelic based lineage. As a part of the illuminated induction, she was allowed to briefly visit Heaven!👼
Enchanted Valentine Emissary
Adora receives the Holiday Baton from Santa on Candlemas
Within the 20th century she as appointed by both Valentine and Aphrodite to be their emissary at North Pole City. Santa Claus agreed and offered her permanent residence and a job as his Love Ambassador. Adora became The Christmas Cupid. She’s the official physical conduit between The Spirit Of Christmas and The Spirit Of Valentines Love that binds the two holidays together in peaceful harmony. On Candlemas she receives the Holiday Baton passed to her by Santa Claus signifying that Christmas is over and the Valentine Season is in complete play!💘
The Loving North Pole Resident
Like many Cupids she can take at least two forms. An adult female form with or without angelic wings. Then there’s a much smaller child-like cherub form that has wings and flies about North Pole City with loving glee! Even within those forms she can look different through cupid magic. Whatever form taken, she is ready to softheartedly smite unsuspecting visitors with her arrows of amity. Often greeting both citizens and guests with warm loving hugs. She has an official Ambassadorial office in the Christmas Capital. Adora also has a shop called Adora’s Love Shack in the Downtown District, where she offers up love spells, potions, amulets, and romantic advice to anyone.💒
Her Holy Duties
Adora maintains the Saint Valentine’s Holy Chapel Of Love in the Uptown District. She’s there for a time on a daily basis to offer up prayers to Valentine, Aphrodite, and the Holy Lord. She’s authorized to marry people in Saint Valentine’s name. On Valentine’s Day some actually get married by the Saint himself with Adora and Aphrodite acting in the sainted ceremonies. On that delightful day as well, she gives a love sermon not only at the Chapel but also at the Valentines service hosted by Santa at St. Nickolaus’s Holy Cathedral Of The Northern Light. Interestingly enough, the back of the chapel is actually the front of the Love Temple Of Aphrodite where she acts as High Priestess. Since Aphrodite was blessed holy Saint Valentine it’s all good!💖
Ambassador Adora
In addition to her duties within the sovereign city-state, she is sent out to various secret supernatural communities in her role as the Love Ambassador. She’s been known to aid those in need when traveling. This includes putting herself in danger to protect innocent people! She’s gone up against Anti-Cupids, dark deities, demons and other entities of evil looking to foster hatred and destroy love. Her favorite duty is locating soulmates and bringing them together on Valentines Day and Christmas! If you visit North Pole City do not dare leave without receiving a hallowed hug from Adora.
